This model is designed to demonstrate and practice heart surgery with the ribcage. The ribcage can be opened and the wire between the sternum will maintain the inner space more expansive during the heart surgery. There is a small piece of acrylic board on the back side so users can adjust the degree of the trainer. The wire on the board with mash covered is where you put the real or simulated heart for practice. After the heart surgery practice, you can also demonstrate the sternum fixation too.
